If the foreigner does not know either English or French, the two official languages in Canada, then they should hire an interpreter for the ceremony. So there might only be problems regarding the legal side of their Canada wedding planning. For the rest there are no differences as compared to any country. In fact the advantage of organizing a wedding on the territory of such a huge country is that there are more alternatives for the choice of a location, of the date, of places for spending the honeymoon and obviously, for finding the perfect wedding planner to take care of everything.
