You can set up a wedding planning website with little expense or fanfare. Weddings are big business and are always happening. Not everyone can afford expensive wedding coordinators yet they still need advice and help planning their wedding.

You can collect tips and advice and offer them for free. You could also write a monthly newsletter and let people subscribe to it. That would help bring traffic to your site. You could offer unique stories and look for unique items pertaining to weddings to sell on your wedding planning website.

A message forum would be a good addition to a wedding planning website because it would let people exchange ideas with one another. Brides-to-be could post things they're looking to find at a bargain such as serving supplies. Perhaps they could buy them at a bargain price from someone who had used it once many years ago. People could post recipes for punch, wedding fare and wedding cakes along with pictures.

A wedding planning website could earn someone a modest income and it would be a great hobby, constantly collecting tips, advice, antique or unique wedding serving pieces. It would be a lot more than just a seller's market. People who have no intention of buying anything could go there and find ideas for favors, decorations, wedding showers and more. If you're crafty, perhaps you could make favors or decorations to sell.

You could have an "Ask the Expert" section on your wedding planning website where people could ask questions pertaining to weddings in general or wedding etiquette. If you didn't know the answer already, you could probably find it somewhere on line.

It may sound sneaky but by lurking around other wedding site message forums, you could learn a lot about what people who are planning weddings are looking for or are worried about etc.

You could also advertise for a favorite charity as there is a "kindness trend" going on with couples who are planning weddings. For instance, it has been reported that Angelina Jolie is planning to buy her wedding dress at the Goodwill store so that others will benefit from her purchase. Some couples have insisted on no gifts for them, only donations to a favorite charity.

You could collect stories like these and post them on your wedding planning website. You will drive traffic to your website if you make it attractive and interesting.
